What's new in Vectrr.

Every Vectrr update, logged in one place: the full changelog for the free ATC simulator. Follow along as new airports and approach charts, voice improvements, and radar-scope features land with each version.

v1.5Vectrr 1.5: Stockholm ArlandaLatest

August 2026
Stockholm Arlanda (ESSA) joins the sim as the newest airport (Vectrr AI): three runways with an approach off all six ends, the four arrival gates ELTOK, VACRA, XILAN and NILUG, and an SAS-led Nordic traffic mix, with every procedure transcribed from the published Swedish AIP charts
Dubai gains its second parallel (Vectrr AI): 12R and 30R now have their own ILS approaches and arrival structure, so you can work either side of the field
Missed approaches are flown as published: a go-around climbs to the charted altitude, turns the way the plate protects, waits for the height the turn may begin at, and honours the point it may not begin before
The altitude you issue on an arrival now sticks, so you can stop a descent short and hold it; re-clear the arrival to hand the descent back to the procedure
Tower gives them back: an aircraft sent around for a blocked runway or an unstable approach returns to your frequency and checks in on the radio, instead of flying its missed approach out of contact
Lower floors where the chart publishes them: a minimum-vectoring pocket drawn inside a larger sector now applies, so arrivals descend into it as the chart allows
Approach plates size themselves to be read and scroll as one page, which fixes charts that came up unreadable on a phone in landscape
The waypoints layer now shows everything the field publishes, navaids and approach points included, while the routes layer stays the arrival structure for the runway in use
Fairer approach intercepts, several airline callsigns that now read back and recognise correctly, and a long list of terrain, charting and descent fixes across every field in the app

v1.4Vectrr 1.4: Vectrr AI

August 2026
Introducing Vectrr AI, an optional subscription that makes the sim live, starting with 3 days free; it includes Vectrr Pro for as long as it's active
Live traffic (Vectrr AI): seed the sector from a real-world snapshot of genuine callsigns, types, levels and squawks, with distant inbounds arriving under Center from as far as 240 NM out
Live weather (Vectrr AI): the airport's current observation, flown for real and read verbatim on the ATIS plate, with the runway in use following the real wind
AI coaching review (Vectrr AI): an on-demand debrief of the session you just flew, built from the score you earned
Dubai International (OMDB) joins the sim as the first extra airport (Vectrr AI): the locally based Emirates and Fly Dubai, along with all the other common airlines flying into this mega hub, so you are vectoring Heavy and Super traffic, with the airport's own approach facility and per-runway tower frequencies
Position relief briefing, so you can take the hand-over and read what you're inheriting: runway in use and why, weather and ATIS, terrain floor, active notices, and what every aircraft on frequency is already doing
Arrival charts: STARs are now drawn in the app alongside the approaches, grouped by landing runway
Radio failure is no longer the end: an aircraft squawks 7600 and keeps flying its last clearance, and can be recovered before it goes fully NORDO; every aircraft now carries a readable transponder code
Published holds at eight KSAN fixes, with correct parallel entries
A scope that declutters as you zoom: fix idents and crossing windows appear as you close in, so the picture stays readable on a phone
Reworked start screen: remembered airport, traffic source picked separately from difficulty, custom difficulty with your own levers, and a vote for the airport we build next

v1.3Vectrr 1.3: Voice & feedback

July 2026
Pick a Full or Compact voice to suit your device, and switch any time in Settings
Faster pilot readbacks: controller callsigns are primed ahead and kept warm between clearances, so calls come back with fewer gaps
Vectrr Safety Reports: flag a mispronounced fix, an odd chart or any feedback from the session summary or start menu; works offline and sends itself once you're back online
Trainee tips: a rotating band of pointers on sequencing, separation and the radar tools plays across the top of the scope, toggled from the layers menu
Session timer beside your score that follows the sim clock, plus an end-of-session summary that reads cleanly in portrait
Half-duplex radio: push-to-talk now waits while the frequency is busy, just like the real thing

v1.2Vectrr 1.2: Vectrr Pro

June 2026
Introducing Vectrr Pro, a one-time, offline unlock; the full game stays free
Replay your last session on the scope, with the radio calls, at 1×/2×/4×
Career logbook: every session's score, outcome and achievements, plus lifetime stats and badges
Modern LCD radar-scope themes alongside the classic CRT
Chart & Company NOTAMs: read the latest briefings before you work the sector
Always-current nav data, delivered over the air, still fully offline
Smoother voice: pilot readbacks no longer stutter the radar

v1.0Vectrr 1.0: App Store launch
